Football Game Preview: Franklin County Flyers vs. Grant County Braves + How To Watch

The Franklin County Flyers are taking a road trip to face off against the Grant County Braves at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin County will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

While Franklin County's win against Spencer County wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Flyers made off with a 34-33 victory over the Bears. The score was all tied up 21-21 at the break, but the Flyers were the better team in the second half.

Franklin County got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Barret Knox out in front who threw for 207 yards and three touchdowns while completing 87.5% of his passes. The Flyers' leading receiver Coen Taylor was Knox's top target yet again, picking up 79 receiving yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Grant County's offense. They were dealt a 36-0 loss at the hands of Western Hills on Friday. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Braves were not able to get on the board.

Franklin County's victory bumped their record up to 7-0. As for Grant County, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
