Baseball Recap: Monett Comes Up Short

Monett blew Bolivar out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Wednesday Bolivar got their revenge. The Cubs fell just short of the Liberators by a score of 8-6. The contest marked the Cubs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Monett's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Bolivar, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Looking ahead, Monett will be playing in front of their home fans against Seneca at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bolivar, they wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, an 8-6 win against Lamar on the 2nd.
