Basketball Recap: Buffalo Comes Up Short

Buffalo has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 47-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Elkhart Elks on Tuesday. The Bison were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Elks earlier this season, when they won 53-33.

Buffalo's record is now 17-9. As for Elkhart, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 8-18.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Buffalo will face off against Fairfield at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Fairfield will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something Buffalo surely won't give up without a fight. As for Elkhart, they will take on Groesbeck at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Elkhart is facing Groesbeck at the right time seeing as Groesbeck is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
