Basketball Game Preview: Dugger Union Bulldogs vs. Cloverdale Clovers

The Dugger Union Bulldogs will challenge the Cloverdale Clovers at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cloverdale took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Dugger Union, who comes in off a win.

Having struggled with seven defeats in a row, Dugger Union turned things around against Red Hill on Saturday. They came out on top against the Salukis by a score of 45-38.

Meanwhile, Cloverdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 66-18 defeat at the hands of North Central. While losing is never fun, the Clovers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 368th, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 86th).

Cloverdale's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Dugger Union, their victory bumped their record up to 6-15.

Dugger Union was taken down by Cloverdale 62-19 in their previous matchup back in December of 2015. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Dugger Union was down 32-7.
