Softball Recap: West Orange Comes Up Short

West Orange fell victim to Cornerstone Charter Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Ducks, falling 10-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Ducks: they've now lost three in a row.

West Orange now has a losing record of 11-12. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-4 record this season.

West Orange will head out to square off against Dr. Phillips at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Cornerstone Charter Academy, they will host Geneva at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Ducks 2.4, the Knights 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.
