Baseball Recap: Sevier County Comes Up Short

Sevier County couldn't beat Morristown-Hamblen East on Thursday even though they stacked four runs on them in the third inning. The Smoky Bears took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hurricanes. The Smoky Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured three defeats in a row.

Sevier County's loss dropped their record down to 14-17. As for Morristown-Hamblen East, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-25-1.

Sevier County does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morristown-Hamblen East, they will take on Morristown-Hamblen West at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
