Football Recap: Chavez Starts Season with Defeat at Home

Chavez unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. The matchup between the Eagles and the Kennedy Cougars didn't end well, with the Eagles falling 14-0.

Kennedy has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-5 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Kennedy beat Chavez by a score of 25-0 later that day.
