Bloomfield posted their biggest victory since December 7, 2024 on Friday. They breezed by the North Central Thunderbirds to the tune of 67-37. Given the Cardinals' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 133rd, while the Thunderbirds are ranked 279th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Bloomfield's win bumped their record up to 11-7. As for North Central, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Bloomfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 43-36 victory against Evansville Christian on the 1st. As for North Central, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 68-66 defeat against Shakamak on the 1st.
