Basketball Recap: Springer Comes Up Short

Springer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 12th straight defeat. They lost to the Maysville Warriors on the road by a 45-28 margin. The Cardinals were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Warriors apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2025.

Springer's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Maysville, their win ended a 14-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-15.

As of now, neither Springer nor the Warriors have any future games scheduled.
