Basketball Recap: Dawson's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against South Houston, Dawson was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 66-56 victory over the Sam Rayburn Texans. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Eagles as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Dawson's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-9. As for Sam Rayburn, their loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-15.

Dawson will take on Kingwood Park in a tournament on Friday. As for Sam Rayburn, they will be taking part in a tournament against Austin at 1:00 p.m. on Friday.
