Recap: Trinity Christian vs. The Habersham School Patriots
After a string of five wins, Trinity Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 58-47 to The Habersham School. Trinity Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as The Habersham School apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.
Maddie Viles was the offensive standout of the contest as she dropped a double-double on 20 points and 14 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Camryn Hampton, who scored six points along with six rebounds.
Trinity Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 9-2. As for The Habersham School, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-8.
Trinity Christian will take on Heritage Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Heritage Christian Academy comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 19 points in their last four games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse. As for The Habersham School, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Coastal HomeSchool at 6:00 p.m. Hopefully Coastal HomeSchool focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 on Friday.
