Soccer Game Preview: Irvin vs. Fabens

The Irvin Rockets will venture away from home to take on the Fabens Wildcats at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Irvin is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.

Irvin fell victim to Riverside and their airtight defense on Friday. They came up short against the Rangers, falling 4-0.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Fabens was not quite Mountain View's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Lobos by a score of 2-1.

Irvin's loss dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Fabens, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-9.

Everything went Irvin's way against Fabens when the teams last played back in December of 2025, as Irvin made off with a 4-1 win. Do the Rockets have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Wildcats turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
