Baseball Recap: Giles County Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Giles County duked it out with Tullahoma on Wednesday. The Bobcats came up short against the Wildcats, falling 11-3. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 last Tuesday.

Giles County has also been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 12 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season. As for Tullahoma, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Coming up, Giles County will look to defend their home field on Friday against Rocket City at 4:30 p.m. The Bobcats are facing the Rockets at the right time seeing as the Rockets are stuck on a five-game losing streak. As for Tullahoma, they will head out on the road to square off against Coffee County Central at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
