Soccer Recap: Perry Central Comes Up Short

Perry Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They came up short against the Hattiesburg Tigers, falling 7-0. The Bulldogs were not able to make up for their defeat to the Tigers from their previous meeting back in November of 2023.

Perry Central's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Hattiesburg, their win ended a nine-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-14-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Hattiesburg beat Perry Central by a score of 7-0 on Tuesday.
