David Ramsey gave up the fewest hits he has since back in March on Friday. He was dynamite, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits over seven innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because South View is 7-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 6-9 otherwise.

Coming up, Ramsey and South View will venture away from home to face off against Purnell Swett at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Tigers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Rams thanks in part to Ramsey: he struck out nine batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits.
