Volleyball Recap: Montpelier Locomotives vs. Gorham Fayette Eagles

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Central, Montpelier was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Gorham Fayette Eagles by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Montpelier had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-14.

Montpelier was led to victory by Stefanie Wade and Madisyn Bolenbaugh. Wade had 17 digs and three assists, while Bolenbaugh had 11 digs and two aces. Those 11 digs gave Bolenbaugh a new career-high. Bella Ramos also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.
