Eufaula is 9-1 against Headland since January of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. After both having extra time off, both will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 5:30 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Eufaula came up into this matchup off a tough 30-point loss two weeks ago. This time they kept things ultra-competitive, but unfortunately the final result was the same. They fell just short of Geneva County by a score of 34-32 two weeks ago.

Meanwhile, Headland had to suffer through a 60-18 loss at the hands of Enterprise. While losing is never fun, the Rams can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 191st, while the Wildcats are ranked 35th).

Eufaula's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Headland, their loss dropped their record down to 9-5.

Everything came up roses for Eufaula against Headland in their previous matchup back in January, as the team secured a 56-27 win. Will Eufaula repeat their success, or does Headland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
