After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Loreauville brought some dynamite into their most recent game. They blew past the Lafayette Lions 11-5 on Thursday. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Loreauville's win bumped their record up to 14-16. As for Lafayette, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-10-1.

Coming up, Loreauville will welcome North Vermilion on Saturday. As for Lafayette, they are taking a road trip to take on Highland Baptist Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Bears have averaged an impressive 6.3 runs per game this season.
