After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last five games, Darrington finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They lost 13-1 to the Mt. Baker Mountaineers. The Loggers' defeat signaled the end of their five-game winning streak.

Darrington's loss dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Mt. Baker, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-8 record this season.

Darrington will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Concrete at 4:00 p.m. The Loggers are facing the Lions at the right time seeing as the Lions are stuck on a six-game losing streak. Mt. Baker does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
