Baseball Recap: Chardon Hilltoppers vs. Northwest Indians
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North, Chardon was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Northwest Indians and snuck past 4-3.
The team relied heavily on Ty Roediger, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Chardon has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Northwest, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.
Chardon will head out on the road to face off against Gilmour Academy at 4:45 p.m. on Monday. As for Northwest, they will be playing at home against Triway at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
