Wachusett Regional faced Silver Lake Regional in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Sunday. The Mountaineers had just enough and edged out the Lakers 4-2. The victory was familiar territory for the Mountaineers, who have now won six games in a row.

Wachusett Regional's win was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-1.
