Baseball Recap: Eatonville Takes a Loss

Eatonville lost against Franklin Pierce on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cruisers took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals. The Cruisers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Santiago Ruvalcaba was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double. Michael Laird also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Eatonville's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Franklin Pierce, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4.

Coming up, Eatonville will welcome Foss at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Cruisers are facing the Falcons at the right time seeing as the Falcons are stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Franklin Pierce, they will head out on the road to challenge Evergreen at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
