Football Recap: Amistad Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Hillhouse, Amistad was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They managed a 26-22 victory over the Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley Chiefs. The Wolves' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Amistad's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.

Coming up, Amistad will take on Prince RVT at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Nonnewaug/Lakeview/Shepaug Valley, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Platt RVT at 6:00 p.m. on the 17th.
