Lake Ridge came tearing into Friday's match with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by the Mansfield Legacy Broncos to the tune of 74-37. The Eagles have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 games by 20 points or more this season.

Lake Ridge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eze Nwakamma, who went 5 of 6 en route to 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaqir Pack, who posted nine points and five boards.

Lake Ridge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 13 offensive boards in three consecutive contests.

Lake Ridge's win was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 31-2. As for Mansfield Legacy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 15 of their last 16 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-22 record this season.

Coming up, Lake Ridge will take on Boswell at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Ridge knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 games -- so hopefully Boswell likes a good challenge. Mansfield Legacy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
