Softball Recap: Indian Hill Comes Up Short

After flying high against Mariemont last Wednesday, Indian Hill came back down to earth. The Braves came up short against the Reading Blue Devils on Monday, falling 13-7. The Braves were not able to make up for their loss to the Blue Devils from their previous meeting back in April of 2024.

Indian Hill got a big performance out of Marin Messerschmitt, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Zoey Glenn, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.

Indian Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Reading, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-1.

While Indian Hill had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
