Basketball Game Preview: Hidden Valley Titans vs. Blacksburg Bruins

Hidden Valley is 1-9 against Blacksburg since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The Hidden Valley Titans will head out to face off against the Blacksburg Bruins at 7:00 p.m.

Hidden Valley is headed into Friday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game on Tuesday. They took a blow against Patrick Henry, falling 54-21. While losing is never fun, the Titans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 153rd, while the Patriots are ranked 45th).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Blacksburg, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Monday. They enjoyed a cozy 61-43 victory over Cave Spring on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bruins as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Hidden Valley's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Blacksburg, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-10.

Hidden Valley might still be hurting after the 55-32 defeat they got from Blacksburg when the teams last played back in January. Can Hidden Valley avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
