If Pleasant Hill wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Grandview, they should've done a better job of containing Jada Smith. The Grandview Bulldogs managed a 67-62 win over the Pleasant Hill Roosters/Chicks on Thursday thanks in part to Smith, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 13 rebounds. That's the most boards she has posted since back in December of 2023.

Grandview is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.0 points per game. As for Pleasant Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-4.

Grandview and Notre Dame de Sion will face off at 7:00 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played. As for Pleasant Hill, they will take on Clinton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
