Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Paramus Catholic). They blew past the Paramus Spartans 11-0 on Saturday. The Paladins not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 13, 2024.

The victory made it two in a row for Paramus Catholic and bumps their season record up to 3-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 0 runs in those games. As for Paramus, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Paramus Catholic will be playing at home against Northern Highlands at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Paladins 2.2, the Highlanders 3.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Paramus, they will take on Hackensack at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Comets' pitching crew has only allowed two runs per game this season, so the Spartans' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
