Football Game Preview: Irvington Blue Knights vs. Columbia Cougars + How To Watch

The Irvington Blue Knights will square off against the Columbia Cougars at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Irvington will be strutting in after a win while Columbia will be coming in after a loss.

Last Friday, Irvington made easy work of Bayonne and carried off a 44-20 victory.

Meanwhile, Columbia played a tough contest last Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were outmatched by Passaic County Tech and fell 41-7. The Cougars have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Having lost for the first time this season, Columbia fell to 2-1. As for Irvington, the win got them back to even at 2-2.

Everything came up roses for Irvington against Columbia in their previous meeting back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 38-7 victory. Will the Blue Knights repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
