Crystal Lake Central never let their opponents score on Monday. They walked away with a 5-0 victory over the Jacobs Golden Eagles. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Golden Eagles: they've now won three in a row.

The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for Jacobs, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-9.
