Baseball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Greenwood

While Greenwood's victory against East Juniata wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Wildcats narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Tigers 5-3. The victory was familiar territory for the Wildcats, who have now won three games in a row.

Jacob Anderson tossed a big game, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Those six strikeouts gave him a new career-high.

At the plate, Greenwood saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was A.J. Adlon, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Another was Michael Hoy, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

Greenwood's record is now 6-10. As for East Juniata, they dropped their record down to 3-13 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road.
