Jonesport-Beals was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 15-14 heartbreaker at the hands of the Searsport Vikings. On the bright side, the 14- run effort marked the Royals' highest-scoring matchup to date.

Jonesport-Beals' defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Searsport, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-8.

Looking ahead, Jonesport-Beals will welcome Narraguagus at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Searsport, they will face off against Bucksport at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
