Sierra Canyon waltzed into their match on Saturday with ten straight wins... but they left with 11. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Archbishop Mitty Monarchs. The Trailblazers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Monarchs, too.

Sierra Canyon's offense was headlined by Hanna McGinest and McKenna McIntosh, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Lucky Fasavalu and her 22 assists. McGinest was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Sierra Canyon's victory bumped their record up to 33-3. As for Archbishop Mitty, with the defeat, they broke their six-match winning streak and moved their record to 18-3.

Coming up, Sierra Canyon is taking a road trip to square off against Marymount at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Archbishop Mitty, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sacred Heart Cathedral Preparatory at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
