Volleyball Recap: Innovation Wins Going Away Against New Smyrna Beach

With a playoff win on the line, Innovation rose to the challenge on Thursday. Everything went their way against the New Smyrna Beach Barracudas as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulls.

Innovation was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-20.

Kamila Griffith paced Innovation's offense, picking up nine kills. Griffith got some help from Leilani Conforme and her 15 assists.

Innovation's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for New Smyrna Beach, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-17 record this season.

After both having extra time off, Innovation and Lake Wales will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. New Smyrna Beach does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
