Volleyball Recap: Woodstock Academy Centaurs vs. Cheshire Rams
It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Woodstock Academy had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They blew past the Cheshire Rams 3-0. The Centaurs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.
Woodstock Academy never let Cheshire on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 27-25, 25-16.
Woodstock Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cheshire only served five.
Woodstock Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. As for Cheshire, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-11.
Woodstock Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Guilford on the 9th. Cheshire does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
