Conway put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bryant Hornets a 2-0 shutout. Those two runs were actually the fewest the Wampus Cats have put up all season, but given the result they're probably not too concerned.

Conway pushed their record up to 19-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Bryant, their defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-6.

Conway and Bryant should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Arkansas Rankings. The Wampus Cats (ranked first) will meet Catholic (ranked 85th) at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Conway 2, the Rockets 4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Bryant will take on Central at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (17 vs. 113).
