Basketball Recap: Hermitage Comes Up Short

Hermitage and Weaubleau squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Hermitage had to settle for second. They took a 50-45 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Weaubleau Tigers. The Hornets were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 41-32.

Hermitage's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8-1. As for Weaubleau, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-11 record this season.

Hermitage will head out to take on Wheatland at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Weaubleau, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Tigers take on the Cougars at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
