Volleyball Recap: Kell Extends Winning Streak to Three

Kell entered their tilt with Cambridge on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Bears. The Longhorns have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-14, 24-26, 25-17.

Cassandra Shippee was the offensive standout of the contest as she had ten digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last nine matches.

Despite the defeat, Cambridge had strong showings from Arianna Cheng, who had nine digs and three aces, and Sadie Keatley, who had 11 kills, three digs, and three aces. Keatley has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last four times she's played.

Kell's record is now 20-16. As for Cambridge, their loss dropped their record down to 9-16.
