Soccer Recap: Ware Shoals Comes Up Short

After soaring to four goals the game before, Ware Shoals was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They came up short against the GREEN Upstate Owls, falling 17-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against GREEN Upstate this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-0 back in March.

Ware Shoals has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season. As for GREEN Upstate, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.

Coming up, Ware Shoals will be playing in front of their home fans against Dixie at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Dixie will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Ware Shoals surely won't give up without a fight. As for GREEN Upstate, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next game, a 3-0 win against First Presbyterian Academy at Shannon Forest on the 10th.
