Basketball Recap: Mountain View Comes Up Short

Mountain View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They fell 64-56 to the Charles J. Colgan Sharks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 100-81 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2019.

Mountain View's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Charles J. Colgan, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mountain View won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Riverbend at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Charles J. Colgan, they also won't have to wait long for more action: they'll square off against Trinity Christian at 6:45 p.m. on Friday.
