Basketball Recap: Ossining Takes a Loss

Ossining was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 107-25 loss at the hands of the Cardinal Hayes Cardinals. The Pride lost against the Cardinals in their previous head to head back in December of 2016, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 63-36 score last time.

Kylen Brito was Ossining's leading scorer, having posted ten points. Dylan Bryant held things down on the boards with eight rebounds. Josh Smith took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Ossining's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Cardinal Hayes, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.

Ossining has already played their next contest, a 44-40 loss against Scarsdale on the 11th. As for Cardinal Hayes, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-53 defeat against St. Raymond Boys on the 12th.
