Baseball Game Preview: Crescent Tigers vs. Palmetto Mustangs

The Crescent Tigers will face off against the Palmetto Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Crescent is coming into the match on a three-game losing streak.

Pendleton hit Crescent with a six-run second inning last Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Tigers fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 9-7. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Tigers have suffered against the Bulldogs since March 23, 2017.

Meanwhile, while Palmetto put up plenty of runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Carolina Academy. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 11-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Mustangs in their matchups with the Trojans: they've now won six in a row.

Palmetto's win bumped their record up to 6-17. As for Crescent, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-11.
