Baseball Recap: Archbishop Mitty Takes a Loss

Archbishop Mitty fell victim to Valley Christian and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Monarchs just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Archbishop Mitty got a good showing from Jay Kim, who pitched 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Kim has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run any time he's pitched this season.

Archbishop Mitty's defeat dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Valley Christian, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-4.
