King's Fork and Indian River are an even 4-4 against one another since September of 2015, but not for long. The Bulldogs will challenge the Braves at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both teams are coming into the game red-hot, with King's Fork sitting on four straight victories and Indian River on five.

Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Braves blew the Cavaliers out of the water with a 57-0 final score. The contest marked the Braves' most dominant victory of the season.

Indian River's win came from a few key players King's Fork will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Kaiden Sykes, who rushed for 100 yards and a pair of scores on only 11 carries. The team also got some help courtesy of James McCoy, who rushed for 38 yards and three touchdowns.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Indian River proved: they limited Lakeland to a paltry 0.1 yards per carry. The Braves didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 6.8.

King's Fork's record is now 7-1. As for Indian River, their record now sits at an identical 7-1.

King's Fork took their win against Indian River in their previous meeting back in October of 2024 by a conclusive 33-7 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
