Football Recap: Weldon Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Weldon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss dating back to last season. They were beaten by the Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy Trojans 60-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 51-12 back in September.

Weldon's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy, their victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-4.

Weldon didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 44-14 loss against Hobgood Charter on the 7th. As for Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Wilson Prep at 7:00 p.m. on the 14th. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Tigers have now posted at least 31 points in their last four matchups.
