Randle and Georgetown squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Randle had to settle for second. They took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Eagles. The Lions' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Aleena ?CoCo? Moppin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with two doubles, one run, and one RBI. Kaylee Nulles also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Randle's defeat dropped their record down to 9-13. As for Georgetown, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 23-9-1 record this season.

While Randle had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled on Friday.
