Baseball Recap: Susquenita Makes It Six in a Row at Home

While Susquenita's win against Greenwood wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. Susquenita narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Greenwood 6-5. The win continues a trend for the Blackhawks in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won seven in a row.

Susquenita's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Galen Wenrich, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-4. Those two stolen bases gave Wenrich a new career-high. Another was Jon Erdossy, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Greenwood, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
