Monache lost against Tehachapi back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Marauders took a 7-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Marauders' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Monache saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ty Baxter, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Monache's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Tehachapi, the win was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Monache will head out to square off against Porterville at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Marauders are facing the Panthers at the right time seeing as the Panthers are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Tehachapi, they will venture away from home to face off against West at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.95 runs per game on average), something the Warriors will no doubt try to take advantage of.
