Basketball Recap: Lewis Cass Comes Up Short

Lewis Cass lost against Logansport back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Lewis Cass Kings lost 76-53 to the Logansport Berries. The Kings' loss continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Despite the loss, Lewis Cass still got an impressive performance from Kolten Young, who went 6 for 11 on his way to 22 points.

Cayden Walker was nothing short of spectacular for Logansport: he went 7 of 14 en route to 21 points along with seven steals and five rebounds. Those seven steals gave Walker a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Deagan Kitchel, who went 5 for 7 on his way to 11 points and eight boards.

Lewis Cass' defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Logansport, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-11.

Lewis Cass wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 50-45 loss against Southwood on the 24th. Logansport has also already played their next matchup, a 55-49 win against Twin Lakes on the 24th.
