Volleyball Recap: Akula Elitnaurvik Starts off Right with Win over Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial

Akula Elitnaurvik took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial Carayiit by a score of 2-0. That's more bragging rights for the Tundra Foxes, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Akula Elitnaurvik easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-12.

Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial is on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Akula Elitnaurvik does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ket'acik and Aapalluk Memorial, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Nelson Island on the 7th.
